Baker Community Band to perform Aug.1

The Baker Community Band, under the direction of Jill Whiteman, will be performing a concert at the Baker Lake amphitheater on Sunday, August 1, at 7 p.m. There will also be an ice cream social at the concert.
Musical selections will feature a variety of patriotic, big band, and contemporary pieces. The band has been practicing twice a week and includes several Ekalaka musicians. All are invited to attend an evening of music and fun.
