Grasshopper contest during fair

Carter Co. Fair Board is sponsoring a grasshopper contest.

If you wish to enter, please submit an entry form to the fair office by Monday, August 9 at 6 p.m. Grasshopper exhibits need to be in place for judging by Thursday, August 12 at 9:30 a.m.

There will be two age groups: 12 and under and 13 and older. Prizes will be awarded.

Categories:

1. Largest Grasshopper - must be mounted on Styrofoam or cardboard.

2. Best Pen of 4 (live) - must be in a clear, escape proof container.

3. Best display of grasshoppers (12 or more) - must be mounted on Styrofoam or cardboard....
