CCHS Volleyball continues busy play

Last Thursday the CCHS Lady Bulldogs traveled to Plevna and defeated the Cougars in three straight sets, 25-12, 25-11 and 25-16. As a team, CCHS had 22 aces, 31 kills, 38 digs and 26 assists in the volleyball match. Codi Melton led in kills with 7. Tyra O'Connor had 8 digs. Heidi LaBree led the team in aces (8) and tied with Carly Aho for the lead in assists (12). Katie Tooke had the team's only block.

On Saturday, CCHS hosted the Willa Nies Memorial Volleyball Tournament. Against Baker's junior varsity squad, Codi Melton shined, leading the team in aces (2 of 6), kills (9 of 23) and digs (...
