Lady Bulldogs finish season at district tourney

CCHS Lady Bulldog volleyballers ended their season at the District 2C tournament in Glendive over the weekend.

In the tourney’s first match Blue defeated Wibaux in four sets. As a team they had an impressive 25 kills and 46 digs. Codi Melton led the way with a team-high 8 aces and had 16 of those digs. Tyra O’Connor had 8 kills while Heidi LaBree had 15 of the team’s 21 assists. Katie Tooke led in blocks (3 of 4).

In their second match on Thursday afternoon, the Lady Bulldogs played the district’s number one seed, Circle. Circle had received a bye in the first round.
