The VFW Auxiliary to Post 7885 will be hosting a ceremony on National Wreaths Across America Day, Saturday, December 18. The event is set to begin at 11 a.m. at Veterans Park in Ekalaka.
Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 2,500 locations across the United States, at sea and abroad. Wreaths Across America’s mission is to remember, honor and teach throughout the year.
Even though Veterans Day occurs in the fall and Memorial Day in the spring, service members sacrifice their time and safety every single day of the year to preserve Americans freedoms....
