The girls got revenge against Baker on Tuesday night in Ekalaka after losing to the Spartans by three points in their first match up of the season on December 17th. Free throw shooting was key as CCHS shot 65 percent while Baker shot only 45 percent. One key moment of the game came in the third quarter when senior Kenzie Tooke banked in a three-pointer and was fouled while shooting. The play gave Ekalaka momentum but Tooke was forced from the remainder of the game with an injury. Nasya O'Connor came into the game for her and made the free throw to complete the three-point play. Lady Blue outscored the Lady Spartans 16-10 in the final frame and went on to win by 7 points. CCHS out-rebounded Baker 39-23, but had nine more turnovers in the game.
