JV boys win a pair at home

Preston Jensen brings the ball up the court during a junior varsity basketball game against Northern Cheyenne on February 4th in Ekalaka. The Bulldog JV squad defeated NCTS, 79-42.

CCHS JV boys played a basketball game at home versus Northern Cheyenne last Friday. Nine Bulldogs scored en route to a 79-42 victory. Blue shot 5 of 7 on free throws. Two Bulldogs, Chace Loehding and Ryker Carroll, had 19 points each to lead the way. Thirteen of Carroll's points came in the third quarter. Doug Swank, NCTS, had a game-high 30 points. Full stats from the game were not available at the time of printing.

On Tuesday the Bulldog JV squad played Baker for the fourth time this season. The boys played at home against Baker's C squad, and came away with a 7-point victory. Ekalaka shot 25 percent on free throws (2-8), Baker shot 48 percent (11-23). Again, 9 Bulldogs scored during the victory. Full stats from the game were not available at the time of printing, and last names for Baker players weren't provided in the books.
