Deanna Hirsch

Graveside services were held April 20th at Beaver Lodge Cemetery in Ekalaka with Corky Harkins officiating.

Deanna Hirsch, 28, formerly of Ekalaka, passed away on Friday April 8, 2022, in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Deanna Marjorie Gail Hirsch was born on March 21, 1994 to Patrick James and Amanda Ann (Parks) Hirsch in Miles City MT, joining her sister, Amber.

Deanna was a toddler when the family moved to Gillette, WY where her father, Patrick died in a car accident; bringing the family back to Ekalaka where she spent her next seven years, enjoying time with her Papa and Grandma Parks on the family ranch. Deanna loved horses and ranch life.

The next move took the small family to Nipawin, Sask, Canada at Tobin Lake Resort. Deanna welcomed her sister Kathrine, and her little brother A.J. with open arms. Deanna was a happy child and loved making people laugh, she never met a person she didn't like, and she loved swimming in the lake and nature.

Deanna graduated from LP Miller High School in 2012 after being diagnosed with cancer, leaving her in a wheelchair. She fought and won that battle, being cancer free until 2021. At the age of 27, her cancer returned with a vengeance.

Deanna passed away on Friday April 8, 2022, leaving behind her mother Amanda, her sisters Amber and Katie; her little brother A.J. and her step-father Vincent. Her grandparents, Dean and Gloria Parks; Albin and Velma Walcer; her grandmother Barbara Hirsch; aunts and uncles; Charles (Sandy) Parks; Spencer (Roberta Parks) Huether; John (Donna) Walcer, Mark (Chantel) Walcer; aunts: Tiffany Hartl; Carol (Bill Rantala) Hirsch Stacie Hirsch and Hope French; as well as numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father Patrick; and her grandfather Alvin Hirsch.
