Bulldogs take on Hawks in season opener

The Broadus Hawks might be the Bulldogs' closest football opponent in terms of miles, but Friday night's season opener at Rowley Field was a non-conference game, providing both team's a chance to learn a bit more about themselves before beginning conference play.

The Bulldogs are a young squad this year. Several freshman will be contributing valuable playing time as the season progresses, even more so now since CCHS was hit with multiple injuries in the opener.
