Summit Basketball Camp slated for June

 


The 2018 Summit Basketball Camp is offering to take your child’s skills to the next level. The camp is open to all grades, from kindergarten all the way to 12th grade. The camp is offering a multitude of training exercises designed to improve basketball skills. Passing, dribbling, shooting, fast breaks, shooting and defense will be worked on at the individual and team level.

The first camp will take place on June 18-20 and will be for kindergarteners to eighth graders. The first group will be fifth-grade to eighth-grade boys ($50) from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. The next group will be kindergarten to fourth-grade boys and girls ($30) from noon-2 p.m. The final bunch will be fifth-grade to eighth-grade girls ($50) from 3 p.m.-6 p.m.

The next camp will be held on June 21 and 22 for ninth to 12th graders, which includes the skill camp on June 21 and a competition the next day. The camp will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will include ninth-grade to 12th-grade boys and girls ($50).

Kids attending the camp must come prepared with shoes and a water bottle. No showers or lunch will be provided. Camp T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies will be available for sale the first day of each camp. Registering by June 14 is encouraged but walk-ins are welcome at the door.
