22 donors attend local blood drive

Twenty-two donors attended the blood drive at Carter County Events Center last week. The drive yielded 28 units. Six donors gave doubles. There were 12 walk-ins. Organizer Darlene Carter Rose said that she met her goal.
Jeff Venhaus won a gift certificate to The Hair Affair as a door prize.
The next blood drive in Ekalaka will take place on Wednesday, January 16. Blood drives typically take place on Tuesdays in Ekalaka, but due to a scheduling conflict, the next drive will be on a Wednesday.
