The Carter County Fair Board and Marshall Ranch, sponsors of the 2019 Days of '85 Pet Parade, were pleased with the turnout even though there was one exhibitor less than last year.

The entries were colorful and creative and the announcer, Susan Tooke, outdid herself this year with her costume and entertainment! Spectators in the bleacher area crowded in and craned their necks to view the handiwork with much clapping. Really, everyone in attendance was a winner. Category winners are listed below.

Foreground: Kimber Castleberry with Maverick, the mini-Aussie. Behind: Clancy Higgins with his lamb, Cutie. When asked about how long he worked on his entry, Clancy stated: "One year with no help!"
