4-H wants you to be safe

Carter County 4-H Ambassadors recently worked to encourage students to be safe during the Halloween season. Ambassadors plan and put on a safety program annually, prior to Halloween. The group contacts the school and plans activities for the program. The 2019-2020 4-H Ambassador team includes: Hannah LaBree, Heather LaBree, Heidi LaBree, Jaden Pardee, Darin Schallenberger, and Gracie Tooke.

This year the group spoke to Ekalaka students on October 28, covering safety tips with an entertaining skit that showed all the things not to do on Halloween. Each student that attended the program received a glow stick and information about 4-H.

The ambassador team worked hard this year to make the event fun for all of the students.
