Wild game feast slated for next weekend

On Saturday January 18th, the public is invited to a Wild Game Feast that will be held at Carter County Events Center in Ekalaka. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for registration and the meal will start being served at 6 p.m. The supper will consist of roast pork, prepared by Doug Bonsell, and several wild game dishes along with beans, rolls and salads.

After supper, a presentation will be given by Dr. R Larry Moyer of EvanTell, Inc. Moyer is the founder and CEO of EvanTell and an accomplished hunter who has hunted all over the United States and Canada. He has also been on a safari hunt in Africa.

At the conclusion of Moyer’s presentation, drawings for several door prizes that have been donated by area businesses and individuals will take place. The grand door prize is a Howa .243 Winchester bolt-action rifle equipped with a 3.5-10 power scope.

Cost for the supper is only $5 per ticket and children under 10 eat free. The entire family is invited to attend this night out for a delicious meal, wonderful speaker and great door prizes!
