Jon Champlin for Town Council: Morally, Fiscally, and Constitutionally Conservative

October 8, 2021

Some of you know me as the pastor of the Bible Church, some of you know me as the guy with curly blonde hair that you see at ball games and around town, some of you may know me for my two very outgoing children who love to stop and talk to everyone they meet. It has been my family's privilege to call Ekalaka our home for the last 4 and a half years. We have enjoyed getting to know many of you and have enjoyed many opportunity to serve the people of Ekalaka and Carter County. This November I ask that you would entrust to me one more opportunity to serve by voting for me for Town Council. Those of you who know me well know that I am a man of conviction, who loves freedom and will stand for your personal and God given rights. I am afraid our federal government will not, and so I believe that our local town, county, and state government must. I believe in fiscal accountability as well as careful and responsible spending. But more than anything, I would like to represent your cares. If there is one pledge I would make, it would be that I will listen to you. Though I am not a native of Ekalaka, so to speak, I am invested in the well-being of this community. These facts perhaps even makes it easier for me to be an impartial ear. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by or call me at 775-6234.

Jon Champlin
