Obermeiers Celebrate 50 years

Roy and Judy Obermeier of Vale, Oregon will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary July 22nd. Reverend Obermeier will be remembered by many as the pastor of the Congregational Church (now Ekalaka Bible) from December of 1973 to May of 1978. Reverend Obermeier made many friends in Ekalaka as he walked around town greeting those with whom he came in touch.

Reverend Obermeier has now pastored at the Willowcreek Community Church for many years. An anniversary celebration will be held at the Willowcreek Community Church, 11 miles northwest of Vale, Oregon, on July 22 from 4-6 p.m. Their family would welcome friends from the Ekalaka area at the celebration.
