37 compete at June Bump-N-Run

A large number of racers and fans were at Ekalaka Airport on June 24 to watch and participate in the first of two Bump-N-Run races held in Ekalaka this year.

Thirty-seven racers competed; 18 in the Limited class, 16 in the Modified, and 3 raced pickups. Four local cars competed.

Lander Novak won in the Limited class, Bryan Gardner won the Modified class, and Casey Schladweiler won the pickup race. Local Shay Beyer finished fifth in the Limited A Main, and local Justin Stieg finished fifth in the Modified A Main.

The next race day in Ekalaka will be Saturday, August 12, during the Days of '85....
