Since Carter County is celebrating its 100 birthday this year, Carter County Chamber of Commerce, the parade committee, and the fair board are hoping to make the parade bigger and better than ever. The board chose “Pioneer Days To Modern Ways” as a theme, and all businesses and individuals are encouraged to put their creativity to work and submit an entry for a parade float.

Carter County is well-known for its outstanding parade. Help keep this tradition alive for another 100 years and make the 2017 Days of ‘85 parade memorable. Please fill out a form (found on page 3 of this issue) and plan on entering a float in this year’s parade, which will take place Sunday, August 13, 2017.
