Ekalaka Volunteer Fire Department members held the drawing for their annual gun raffle fundraiser on November 25 at Dawg House Pub.
Jim Michalski from Minnesota was the lucky grand prize winner this year. He choose the Marlin .44 Magnum Lever Action as his prize.
Local Wayne Yost also took home a gun in this year’s raffle, a Remington Model 7 .243 Win.
The third place prize, 10x42 Bushnell Trophy Binoculars, was won by Gary Gorder of Baker.
Fire department members were very pleased with the number of tickets sold this year and are looking forward to next year. They were especially thankful to those who purchased tickets and to Dawg House Pub for selling them.
Proceeds from the raffle will help in the department’s effort to get a new building in Ekalaka.
