Hunter safety course, March 3 - 4 in Ekalaka

There will be a hunter safety course for area residents on March 3-4 at Carter County Events Center in Ekalaka.

Students must attend both days of the course in order to receive a certificate. Registration must be done online at fwp.mt.gov in order to participate. The deadline to register is February 25. Those who need help registering, may contact MT Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 7 office in Miles City at 234-0910.

Materials for the class will need to be picked up prior to class at Wagon Wheel Cafe. The class is limited to 20 students.

Students will need to bring their own lunches, snacks and drinks, as these will not be provided. For questions about the class, please contact Bud Powell at his home number (406) 775-6239, or his cell number (406) 975-9794.

Anyone born after January 1, 1985 must pass hunter safety in order to hunt.
