Throughout the month of April, CCHS offered an adult education class dubbed "Girl's Can't Rope." The class, set up by Sarah Reynolds and Dalene Finstad, offered women the chance to learn the fundamentals of heading and healing on the ground, inside the grade school gym.

Sarah Cofer, left, was awarded most improved throughout the class.

Throughout the class, several community members came in to instruct, donating their time and sharing their skills. The instructors included: Les Kreitel, Karen Kreitel, Don Selle, Mikel Fruit, Colby Diede, and Neil Kittelmann.

RodeoRigs.com donated roping dummies for use and Imaginative Ink donated a jacket and roping gloves.

The class was well received by participants, some of whom learned the fundamentals, while others bettered their roping skills. If their is a continued interest, more classes and/or roping activities may be held in the future.
