Bean bag benefit

Dawg House Pub and Bruski Bacon will be hosting a benefit event for dear friends Matt and Ami Nies on Saturday, June 9. The community was heartbroken by the passing of their beautiful baby girl earlier this month. Please join them to raise funds to help offset medical expenses for this family.

Raffles will be held for prizes donated by local businesses, and a live auction will be held for a chest freezer generously donated by Ted and Lisa Strugar.

There will be a double-elimination bag tossing tournament starting at 4 p.m. Buy in is $20 for the adult bracket (16 and up) and $10 for the youth bracket (8-15). There will also be a bounce house set up for the youngsters ($5 wrist bands).

The barbecue starts at 6 p.m. with $10 all you can eat burgers and brats donated by Dawg House Pub, Ryan and Abbey Bruski, and Jerry and Kathy Sikorski.

Truvail will kick off a street dance at 9 p.m. They play a variety of music that will surely have attendees dancing all night!

All proceeds will go to the Nies family.
