With all of the concern over the Covid-19 virus and since I like math numbers, I thought this could be an appropriate time to do some math. I went to school in the B.C. era (before computers and calculators), so my skills might be rusty. I have based my calculations on last weeks’ numbers in the Eagle so they might not be current. Based on Montana’s population being 1,000,000; and the Covid-19 numbers published in the Eagle as to the sickness, hospitalization, and death counts, I have the following percentages: Number of people confirmed Covid-19 positive: 400 = .04% of population.
