As of Tuesday, September 8, Montana reports a cumulative total of 8,381 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 66 new cases since yesterday, 1,992 active cases, and 6,270 patients considered recovered. State officials also report that 502 of the cases have resulted in hospitalizations, with 161 patients currently hospitalized. There have been 119 Montana deaths attributed to the disease.
