No baseball this spring in Ekalaka

Due to the lack of a field in Ekalaka, there will not be any local youth or adult baseball or softball this year.

Tee-ball, usually beginning on the first Wednesday in May, last had a season in 2019 when over thirty kids were a part of the program.

Local baseball and softball supporters have been working to get a new ball field in Ekalaka since the county elected to fence off the old field that sat between the fairgrounds and high school football field.
