The Ekalaka Eagle - Your Community Builder

A Veterans Day program took place at Carter County High School on November 11. Several local veterans were in attendance. Six were 'adopted' by different Ekalaka Public Schools classes. Each class made posters for their veterans based off of interviews with them.

After the program their was a reception with pies, cookies and punch where students were able to speak more with the veterans.
