On February 22, Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Carter County Conservation District hosted an adaptive management workshop. Throughout the day there were around forty-five people at Carter County Event Center.
Kevin Sedivec, NDSU Professor and Rangeland Management Specialist, came to Ekalaka to speak at the event. Sedivec presented how to adapt management for extreme weather, grazing concepts and his patch-burn grazing study. Several local producers also presented their key management concepts.
