Smiles Across Montana (SAM) Coming back this month to Ekalaka! Final days to sign up your kiddo! To parents of students in Ekalaka Public School districts (K-12). Deadline to submit your form of interest is May 20. SAM will be here for their return visit on May 24. Forms available at the Health Department or call us to request one sent by email. Don’t let the concern of costs deter you. SAM submits for insurance reimbursement and also provides scholarships. A few of the dental care services that Smiles Across Montana can provide include; exams, cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, oral health demo, x-rays necessary and prescribed by a dentist. COVID-19 Vaccine and Home Test Kits | We will have an Adult vaccine clinic day by appointment, on Thursday, May 19. This includes primary series and booster doses. Reserve your spot or call with questions, 775-6332. Also available are Free COVID-19 At Home Test Kits for Residents. These are easy to use and quick results in 15-30 minutes.

FREE Shot Clinic for Kindergarten and 7th grade vaccinations | Friday, July 22. Call: (406) 775-6332 to pre register. The Carter County Health Department and the BCBS Care Van have teamed up to offer adolescent vaccines for no out-of-pocket cost. Event will be at Carter County Museum, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. July 22. In order to ensure adequate supply, pre registration is required.

Carter County Museums plans to host a Gopher mounting class following the clinic.
