The CCHS Lady Bulldogs handily beat both non-conference opponents they took on in two away games over the weekend to improve their record to 4-0 on the season.
On Friday against Broadview/Lavina, Lady Blue won, 54-30. As a team, they shot 71 percent on free throws and 31 percent from the field. They went 4 of 20 from behind the arc, out-rebounded Broadview/Lavina 24-21, and won the turnover battle, 23-13. Nasya O’Connor and Heidi LaBree each had 14 points to pace Blue on offense. Kendra Tooke led the team in rebounding with 7.

On Saturday, CCHS defeated Reed Point/Rapelje by 48 points. The Lady Bulldogs outscored the Lady Renegades by at least 10 points in each quarter. They shot 50 percent (8-16) on free throws. Reed Point/Rapelje, meanwhile, went 57 percent (4-7) from the line.
