Planned power outage to affect area residents

Southeast Electric Cooperative has planned a power outage for customers on the Ekalaka substation for the night of Tuesday, June 20th, and into the following morning. Power may be off from approximately 10 p.m. on June 20th to 6 a.m. on June 21st.

The planned outage is necessary to make repairs to the Ekalaka substation. It will affect all cooperative members located in the Town of Ekalaka and members approximately 13 miles south of Ekalaka. In addition, it will also affect members in the Beaver Flats community and some south on Chalk Buttes....
