Eagle office moves

This week's Eagle is the first published from 11 N. Main Street in Ekalaka. The newspaper office was moved over the Fourth of July weekend from an office inside Summit National Bank (307 N. Main) to the old law office building on the other end of the street. The Eagle was published for nine years at the previous location, with the first issue from the office inside the bank being published on July 4, 2014.

Prior to moving to an office at the bank the Eagle changed locations in 1925, when the paper moved to the familiar stone building on Short Street (now TSO Cantina) after a 16-year run on Main Street in two different buildings. The first issue printed in the stone building was July 10, 1925. In total, the office located at 11 N. Main Street is the fifth location for the newspaper office in the Eagle's history; there have been only four owners.

The Ekalaka Eagle is the official paper of Carter County, Montana, and Town of Ekalaka. It has been in continuous circulation since 1909.
