Shakespeare in the Parks

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks' performance of "Measure for Measure" was attended by several members of the community on Tuesday evening at the old nursing home lawn. The performance was sponsored by Sagebrush Service Club. It was one of only a few events happening in Ekalaka on Independence Day, and thus provided a great way for many to spend their holiday evening.

Shakespeare in the Parks travels to rural areas around the state putting on performances that have been a cherished community event for over fifty years. Sagebrush Service Club has been sponsoring the event in Ekalaka since 2015. Prior to that it was sponsored by Artists of the Prairie. The show is made possible each year by the generous support of many in the community and surrounding areas.
