The Gumbo Gophers 4-H Club held their June meeting on the 11th at the Alzada Hall. Market sheep and goat weigh-ins were held before the meeting. Members set the date for lake day on July 21st at Orman Dam. They also set the date for the Fireman’s BBQ on August 2 at 6 p.m. at the Alzada Hall. Natalie gave an illustrated talk on DNA Fingerprinting and Alivia gave one on Biome Presentation Tropical Pacific Ocean. Amanda from the extension office held a knot tying workshop after the meeting.
