One defendant changes plea in Fallon County assault case, another expected to change plea in November

One of two defendants in an assault case currently in Sixteenth Judicial District Court in Fallon County has changed his plea while the other defendant is expected to change his plea next month. The defendants, Tucker Tooke and Turner Tooke, were both charged with counts of assault with a weapon, a felony, late last year.

A trial for both defendants was scheduled to take place Oct. 17, however that trial has now been vacated.

Tucker Tooke entered a change of plea on Sept. 26, pleading guilty to one count of assault with a weapon with another count being dismissed.
