The completed portion of the veterans memorial at Perso Park in Ekalaka is shown above. Walls bearing the names of area veterans who have valiantly served their country will be built on each side of the portion shown above.
Through the generosity of Stockman Bank, The Carter County Community Foundation has received a $25,000 Challenge donation towards building the Veterans Tribute in the town of Ekalaka. Stockman will match donations up to a total of $25,000.
"The Carter County Community Foundation and members of the Ekalaka community have put a lot of work into honoring our Veterans through the Tribute. As a prior service member, it's great to see it coming to fruition" stated Mitch Grove, Stockman Bank Miles City Market President." The Tribute will be a wonderful addition for the county."
