Shakespeare at Ekalaka Public Schools

Montana Shakes! recently stopped at Ekalaka Public Schools where they performed an original interactive play called  "Goofes, Gaffs, Flubs, & Fumbles." Local students Dallas Spencer and Holly Walker, above, participated in the play.

Born from aspirations to bring the timeless tales of William Shakespeare directly to rural and under-served communities, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks has been enriching the lives of people in Montana for fifty-two seasons.

Montana Shakes! was created in 2008 and is the only Shakespearean elementary school theater program designed for rural communities. Sixty tour stops stretch across Montana and Wyoming, reaching over 11,000 students each spring. MSIP only charges schools one-half of the actual cost of keeping the program on the road.
