CCHS football got off to a rough start last Friday night when they played their first game of the season against the Richey/Lambert Fusion in Lambert.
The Fusion took and early lead and scored often. The only bright spot of the game for CCHS was when junior back Caleb Fix scored on a 54 yard run, breaking multiple tackles. The run came late in the first quarter and would be the only score of the game for the Bulldogs. The final score was Richey/Lambert 68, CCHS 6.
