Dogs fail to complete comeback

The Bulldog defense couldn't get any stops in the first quarter at Savage last Friday night. Savage seemingly moved the ball at will and had a 32-6 heading into the second. CCHS was shorthanded due to injuries and ineligibility, and several players had to play new positions. In the second quarter, the Dogs got into a rhythm on offense. They moved the ball well on option runs and pass plays down the field. On the last play of the first half, Savage intercepted a ball in the end zone.
