The lawn's a stage

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks beckons thee to the Dahl Memorial Healthcare lawn in Ekalaka on Monday, July 1. The theatre company will be performing “Henry IV, Part 1”, directed by Kevin Asselin, at 6:30 p.m. The free play is sponsored by Sagebrush Service Club. Donations are appreciated for future shows.

CCHS Close Up will be serving a free will donation meal beginning at 4:30 p.m., prior to the performance. The meal includes hot dogs, chips, drinks and dessert.

Attendees should bring what they may need to be comfortable at an outdoor theater event, such as appropriate clothing and insect repellent.

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks is the only fully professional touring theatre program in the state currently producing Shakespeare’s plays, the only Shakespeare company in the country to reach as extensively into rural areas, and the only company in the state that offers its performances free to the public, guaranteeing accessibility to all.
