Bulldog J.W. Elmore (10) attempts to block Hawk Marcus Mader (32) on Tuesday night in Ekalaka.

Last Thursday the CCHS Varsity Bulldogs battled the Custer/Hysham Rebels, but fell just short of a win, 40-47. CCHS shot 3 for 9 on free throws; the Rebels went 17 for 26. Jaden Pardee nearly had a double-double, leading Blue with 17 points and 8 rebounds. He also had 6 turnovers. As a team, the 'Dogs had 18 turnovers, compared to 14 for the Rebels.
