Pet parade nearing

The Carter County Days of ‘85 Fair & Rodeo is just around the corner. And, that means so is the pet parade sponsored by the Carter County Fair Board, Alkali, Inc. & Dawg House Pub. This year’s theme is “Red, White & Blue.”

Have a heart-to-heart talk with your pet and let them know you’re in it to win it! The parade is at noon on Friday August 11, 2023. Sign up will start at 11:30 a.m. behind the Event Center.

Prize awards are 1st place - $50; 2nd place - $30 and 3rd place $20. Every entry that doesn’t place will receive five dollars for participating. We will be having...
