Lady Bulldogs lose two matches

CCHS volleyball played Forsyth at home on October 5th. The JV girls lost in four sets, 15-25, 23-25, 15-13, 8-15. Varsity lost in three straight sets, 12-25, 8-25, 18-25. Nasya O'Connor had 6 of the team's 17 kills and their only block. Keli Melton led with 5 of 16 digs and Danica Shepherd had 11 of 13 assists.

On Tuesday, CCHS played matches against Buffalo, South Dakota. Stats were not available for the JV game. CCHS lost the varsity contest in three sets, 18-25, 19-25, 22-25. As a team, Lady Blue had 6 aces, 15 kills, 7 blocks, 44 digs and 9 assists. Danica Shepherd led in assists with 9 and tied Nasya O'Connor for the lead in kills with 5. O'Connor also led in blocks with 6 and tied Keli Melton for the lead in aces with 3. Kendra Tooke tallied 9 of Lady Blue's 44 digs.

This Thursday, CCHS will take on Wibaux at home for the volleyball team's senior night. On Saturday, they travel to Circle.
