Lady Bulldogs start season 0-4

The Lady Bulldogs played Circle in Sacred Heart for their first game of their 2023-24 basketball campaign. CCHS was outscored in the second quarter by six points. Those points ended up being the difference in the game as every other quarter was even. CCHS shot only 2 of 10 from the charity stripe, 7 of 19 on two-pointers, and 5 of 24 on threes for the game. They did manage to out-rebound Circle 39-26, while losing the turnover battle 23-17. Kendall Kittelmann led CCHS in points with 9; Kendra Tooke led in rebounds with 8.

CCHS lost a close game against Savage on December 2nd, 37-41. As a team, Lady Blue went 10 of 20 from the free throw line. They also committed 16 turnovers compared to 12 for Savage. Their three-point shooting was off as they went 1 of 14 (7%) from behind the arc. Nasya O’Connor led in points with 20 and rebounds with 10.

Last Friday the CCHS Lady Bulldogs again lost a close contest, this time by 6 points to Custer/Hysham. As a team, they shot only 7 of 20 on free throws and 15 of 54 (28 percent) from the field. Nasya O’Connor led the Lady Bulldogs with 22 points and 15 rebounds. Lady Blue out-rebounded Custer/Hysham 38 to 34 and won the turnover battle 17 to 19.
