    A short while ago, I sent a letter to our Mayor, Mrs. Fix, stating my concerns about the Town of Ekalaka’s proposal to remove pavement from Mormon Avenue and replace it with gravel. To date, I have received no response from her. At the same time, I submitted that same letter to the Ekalaka Eagle as a letter to the editor.     In regards to the town’s proposal to remove and discard the pavement on Mormon Avenue, the replacement of water and sewer mains, and the resurfacing of the street with gravel, I am totally against the idea. I have a number of concerns in regard to this proposal. If the pavement is removed and replaced with gravel, I fear, as with the manner in which the other unpaved streets in this town are maintained, it will turn into another muddy, sloppy, boghole that will be next to impassable in wet weather and a rutted pothole f...
