  • Homicide and arsons arrests made following Fallon fire

    Montana Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) agents made two arrests following a fire in Fallon last month, Attorney General Austin Knudsen announced today. Sterling Brown, arrested Wednesday in Camp Crook, South Dakota, was charged with deliberate homicide for causing the death of Isaac Carrier in Fallon, Montana on January 23. Dahl Memorial opened its doors on November 11, 2021, after a 3-day move-in period. The first few weeks were a little challenging, but staff adapted to the new environment rather quickly.   • Hunter, bowhunter education courses set for Miles City

    There will be two in-person Hunter Education classes offered in Miles City in March, and online registration in now available for the first class. Hunter Education students must be at least age 10 by the first day of class.     The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has developed a simplified direct loan application to provide improved customer experience for producers applying for loans from the Farm Service Agency (FSA).     Two former CCHS students recently made dean’s lists at their respective universities. Tylee M. Loehding, a 2021 CCHS graduate, was one of 4,226 students named to the fall 2022 dean’s list at North Dakota State University. A student must earn a 3.50 grade point average or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 class credits to qualify. Loehding is majoring in human development and family sciences.
