    Over seventy people attended Montana Shakespeare in the Parks' performance of "Henry IV, Part 1" on Monday evening in Ekalaka. The performance was sponsored by Sagebrush Service Club and enjoyed on the Dahl Memorial Healthcare lawn. The theatre company has traveled to rural areas around the state putting on performances that have been a cherished community event for forty-seven years.     Dahl Memorial Healthcare employees who would like to see the new facility include a walking path around the block of the facility have taken matters into their own hands. The safe, four-foot-wide sidewalk dubbed by employees as the "Health Walk" would ideally include benches for resting, four dog waste clean-up stations and a tiny library to trade and donate books.   • Black bear near Forsyth captured, safely relocated

    Newly hired Ekalaka Public Schools music teacher Nate Louisignau recently announced that he is forming a local concert band. Any southeastern Montana resident who is a high school freshman or older is invited to participate. The Carter County Concert Band will meet once per week in the evening to practice and will perform three concerts throughout the year.     A make-up day for sports physicals for all local athletes in grades 5-12 will be held on Wednesday, July 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Dahl Memorial Clinic. Physicals cost only $25 and payment is due at the time of service.     The 2019 Baker Hoop It Up 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament is scheduled for July 26, beginning at 9 a.m. in downtown Baker. The tournament, sponsored by Baker Chamber of Commerce, will be held in conjunction with Crazy Days. Boys and girls in grades 3-12 are invited to participate. Rudy was born April 3, 1938 at the homestead near Alzada, MT to Virgil and Ella Wintermute. Rudy was raised and attended grade school there.
