Dogs open season at Lavina

Last weekend the Bulldog men took the court in a start-of-season tournament at Lavina. Blue went 1-1 to start their season, defeating Reed Point-Rapelje and losing to Winnett-Grass Range.

The Dogs took a one point lead at the half in their game against Reed Point-Rapelje, overcoming a three point first quarter deficit. They outscored the opponent 12-11 in each of the final two quarters, securing a three point victory. Blue did most of their scoring inside, led by junior Mick O'Connor who had 25 points, despite shooting only 7 for 13 from the charity stripe. As a team, the Bulldogs went only 10...
