Lady Bulldogs defeat Lady Cougars

The Lady Bulldogs lost to the Lady Spartans on January 23rd in Baker, 19-70. Keli Melton led CCHS with seven points; Madison O'Connor led Baker with 27.

On January 25th the Lady Bulldogs defeated the Plevna Lady Cougars in Ekalaka, 61-48. Lady Blue out-rebounded Plevna, 41-33, but lost the turnover battle, 30-24. As a team, they shot 8-19 on free throws, 19-37 on twos, and 5-13 from behind the arc. Keli Melton had 20 points and nine rebounds to lead the way for CCHS.

The following night, January 26th, the Lady Bulldogs lost to the Broadus Lady Hawks in Ekalaka, 48-62. CCHS had a pile of rebounds (55) but again lost the turnover battle (25-12). As a team they shot 10-16 (63 percent) on free throws, 13-45 (29 percent) on two-pointers, and 4-22 (18 percent) on three-pointers. Lady Bulldog Danica Shepherd had a huge night with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Mia Mader led Broadus with 15 points.
