Llane Carroll of CCCF presents Museum Director Sabre Moore with a $2,900 grant at Carter County Museum on Tuesday afternoon.
The Carter County Community Foundation (CCCF) recently announced this year's grant recipients.
The ambulance fund at Dahl Memorial Healthcare received $3,800 to help purchase a basket stretcher for rough country rescues. The grant will also partially fund a power load for aiding EMTs getting patients into and out of the ambulances.
Carter County Geological Society received $2,900 for summer youth programming. The 2020 Junior Scientists Program will focus on earth sciences, paleontology and astronomy. It has been tentative scheduled to run from mid-June until mid-August. Steve Hobe will again b...
