Dogs get two weekend wins over Plevna

Kari Kittelmann’s seven aces and Kenzie Tooke's eight kills helped spark CCHS Bulldog volleyball to a 25-12, 25-3, 25-14 sweep over the Plevna Cougars in Ekalaka last Friday. Heidi LaBree had all ten of the team’s assists. As a team, Blue had 20 aces, 17 kills and 3 digs in the match.

On Saturday, the girl’s traveled to Plevna, again winning in 3 sets, 25-4, 25-12 and 25-9. Kittelmann and LaBree each had 5 of the team’s 22 aces. Tooke had 11 of 24 kills, Kittelmann had 6 of 14 digs and LaBree had 8 of 21 assists.

This Saturday the girls are set to take on the Wibaux Longhorns for Homecoming. The junior high volleyball team will begin play at 3 p.m., after the boys’ ‘buffball’ competition.
